Dependable Highway Express (DHE), a large transportation company, seeks an PM* Customer Service Rep* to work in our LTL Division at our Los Angeles Service Center. Dependable is a stable and rapidly expanding Trucking and Warehousing company with long roots in Los Angeles Transportation. We are looking for a positive attitude and a team player.
Job Function:
Clerk will assist department staff to maximize customer service through effective Dispatch and Driver coordination, along with Customer Service duties.
Job Responsibilities:
- Data Entry
- Assist dispatch with communicating work assignments to Local drivers
- Complete and maintain spreadsheets and reports
- Making Appointments
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of U.S. geography
- Experience dealing with Truckload Carries
- Able to multitask and to provide support
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Regional Transportation Industry knowledge or equivalent preferred
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
- Willingness to be cross-trained in other departments such as dispatch
- High School Diploma or higher a plus
- Able to work 40+ hours a week
Compensation / Benefits:
